We’re joined by Denmark’s Helle Frederiksen on the podcast this week. Helle recently announced her retirement after an 11 year professional career. During that time she competed at the Olympics, won 10 Ironman 70.3 titles, became ITU Long Distance Champion in 2018 and recorded the fastest female time ever recorded at the 70.3 distance – 03.55.50.
There are some brilliant life lessons for us all in this interview. You’ll hear Helle discussing:
*Her decision to retire
*Her biggest failures and what she has learnt from them
*What she is most excited...And most scared about for her next chapter
*The tools she used to keep believing she could come back from injury
*Her plans to write a book
*The magic ingredients to make it to the top (it’s not rocket science)
*Tips for running, S & C and swimming
