Coach Suzie Richards
Suzie is a British Triathlon Level 2 Coach, a qualified teacher and coach to teachers.
A graduate of Loughborough University, Suzie felt 3 years surrounded by some of the best athletes and coaches in the world provided huge inspiration and learning. Suzie spent a year studying in America and competing in the NCAA college sports system, in Track and Field as a 5,000/10,000m runner.
Suzie has a thirst for knowledge and learning. If you want a conversation around books, podcasts, TED talks, documentaries then Suzie would be happy to sit and chat over a cup of tea and cake for several hours.
Suzie is a lifelong sports fan and athlete, having played and competed in a whole range of sports, settling on cross country and athletics at Loughborough University. She discovering Duathlon while working in London which lead to Triathlon. Suzie believes Triathlon is more than swim, bike, run. It is a vehicle for personal growth, for developing oneself into the best version of themselves.
Suzie is competing as a pro 70.3 triathlete having won a variety of domestic races over the last few seasons such as Outlaw Half in Nottingham. Always Aim High Slateman Triathlon (3 times 2014-2016), Sandman, Snowman, Leeds ITU AG race in 2016 and she won the World age group Duathlon Championships in 2014.
